Romantic Destination Wedding Inspiration in Cinque Terre Italy

As you know, I am a huge fan of the Italian Riviera as a wedding destination, not only because is my natal region but I know that, with a little search and some help from the expert in the wedding industry, you will find some of the most amazing wedding locations that Italy has to offer, with a given bonus that this coastal part of the Italian Riviera is not overcrowded like the Amalfi Coast whilst still retain its sheer beauties!

At this regard I have set up a creative wedding styled shoot with the help of a well known London based wedding planner who also fell in Love with the locations here in the Italian Riviera. Together, we have decided to showcase some of the best local suppliers in the beautiful area of Cinque Terre, bringing our London cosmopolitan zest to the romantic settings of the Eremo Della Maddalena, an ex-monastery that sits quietly on the top of a terraced hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. With his own land filled with olive trees, a swimming pool and a cobbled pathway that makes it a little harder to reach, this Venue has it all set for a lush wedding experience.

With up to 4 rooms across two floors and courtyard, with its own kitchen facilities, the Eremo della Maddalena is the perfect place for hosting the closest family or even the wedding party, there is plenty of space to keep both the groom and bridal preparation moments hidden away from each other on your wedding day. On the lanyard, you can certainly set up a bespoke ceremony among the olive trees as well as hosting a gorgeous wedding breakfast. Although the Eremo makes it an idillic destination for intimate weddings, the Venue’s capacity can easily stretch up to 200 guests, so you can rest assured to accommodate any last minute turn ups 😉

Our romantic flair took off when setting up the wedding breakfast table, as the Venue’s lanyard has breathtaking views over the Mediterranean Sea, we felt inspired to match the dusty blue panorama with abundant compositions of coral and peach roses and peonies, while our caterers displayed their very own grazing board of local charcuteries and delicatessen.

Ready for the second look? Our experienced hair stylist and MUA did not take long to put together romantic yet modern bridal looks, complementing perfectly the London design of the dressing gowns and the coral colour theme that was set for the photoshoot.

Our sweet bride is getting ready for cake and dessert…a very special Italian delicacy that we brought up to the Venue, just for her.
