One of my favorite places in the area is the coastal town of Sestri Levante, an enchanting peninsula situated between two beautiful bays. I am never tired of taking photos here…I love to walk by the pastel-tinted houses on the eastern beach, breathe in the warm atmosphere of the Caruggio and watch the incredible sunsets on the western Bay. This less known hidden gem is the ideal setting for a romantic wedding in the Eastern Side of the Riviera.

The inhabitants of Sestri Levante are used to tourism, they are friendly and they love to see newlyweds walking about! After the ceremony on the beach, I photographed my couple along the bay, before heading with them to the Caruggio for a fun-based photography session.. and of course for well-deserved gelato and coffee!

Situated on the top of the peninsula, overlooking on the two Gulfs, this stunning medieval Castle turned into a Four Star Hotel is the most exclusive wedding venue in Sestri Levante. I have photographed weddings here before and I cannot recommend them enough, for the delicious food, the stunning location and the warm hospitality of their staff. Featuring its own private park and access to a natural swimming pool, yourselves and your guests will have a wonderful experience at the Grand Hotel dei Castelli anytime!
